Classic Shrimp Scampi
Buttery, garlicky, lemony perfection in 15 minutes. The sauce clings beautifully to fresh shrimp.

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup dry white wine (or broth)
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt (or to taste)
  • ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1¾ lb large/extra-large fresh shrimp, shelled
  • ⅓ cup chopped parsley
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Cooked pasta or crusty bread

Instructions

  1. Melt butter with oil in a large skillet. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add wine, salt, red pepper, and black pepper. Simmer until wine reduces by half (~2 min).
  3. Add shrimp; sauté until just pink (2–4 min). Stir in parsley and lemon juice.
